Did you break any earths off the car. ? the belt tight on the altenator ? Any wires pinched ? my rear lights reverse light wire was pinched and it made the car drop to 10 volts and when i unpinched it it went back up to 14.4 volts.

Id check for broken earths first then pinched or broken wires hitting chassis first then if nothing like that then altenater belt if touched is not tight enough
