Default Help needed removing rear ball joints on an r32

Right lads had the 32 in at a "decent" garage today in cork city and he could not remove the rear balls joints,he said he would have to strip down most of the rear end and use a press as he didn't want to use heat which is fair enough. Is there anything out there, tool wise or anything to get these out without having to strip it down or use heat. Have the retest b4 the 11th nd tis the only thing it failed on. All info welcome even anyone out there able to do the job for me Saturday some stage if there free

Dropping the arm out and pressing it would be easier than doing it in situ tbh. And its only a few bolts to drop the arm out anyways. I would offer to do it but Im all the way up in Co. Down lol.

Bit of heat , a grown man's arm and a grown man hammer.
