    Default New from Cork

    Hi everyone.

I'm Joey and a real car fanatic.

I just moved from Holland to Ireland for work. And live in Cork for 2 weeks now.
Always had a big passion for nice styled and fast cars.

In Holland i worked for a car terminal and every car from nissan that was coming from the factory, we arranged the tranaport to other countries.
So to name a few models that i drove:
the 370z (also the nismo version)
And ofcourse the gtr. (drove in total 124 of them.)
So as a car fanatic that i am, i loved that job.
Also particulair import from japan.. had to drive those cars.
So drove alot of skyline's supra's rx7's you name it.

And in my spare time i was also busy with cars.
    I have a audi a6 from 1997.
(Cleaned, deep dish wheels, airride etc.)

And for the track a old bmw 6 serie 645i.
(3.5L turbo motor, very rare and fully stripped and a roll cage)

i'll post some photos of the cars in the morning.

Because i moved to Ireland for work, i want to continue my passion here.
Want to see where the action takes place and some meetings would be nice!
I saw alot of beautiful and amazing cars already here in Cork, so i'm curious how the car world is, here in Ireland.

And ofcourse i'm looking for a nice car i can drive here.
    In the near future.
I think of a skyline or supra.. what ever that comes in my way

I'm looking forward to the car scene here.. the meetings, the track etc.
And hope to meet some of you.

    Joey.

Thank you Cillian for the nice reply.

Here are some photos of my cars and one of me driving the gtr.

Thank you for the tip, would like to visit some day. (when i have the time and the weather is much better).

    My 645i sharknose.

    My audi a6

    And me in the gtr.

Can somebody tell me, if i have a nice car here in Ireland (a supra etc.) where i can tune it for aftermarket parts? (more hp etc.) And where i could go to if there is something wrong? A good garage?

I'm still searching and would like to get some tips where to go or not go.
I'm a bit afraid that i have to go to the UK..
    So i'm curious. Thanks!

Can anyone can tell me where to find a good tuner and a good garage near Cork?

And are there more forums here in Ireland for meetings / trackdays and other brands and tuners?
    Jdm related?

    Thank you Peter!

One day we had a demonstration with the gtr. Took it up te highway, testing the cornering speed and the famoua launch control.
That was one of the best days i ever had.

Unfortunetaly my contract expired.. right on the day they announced the gtr nismo would come haha.
