No wont fit diesel afaik, correct me if im wrong if anyone kniws better

Wont fit no, tds is same fitment as 520i and even if you changed the subframe the ratio would be all wrong would only do about 70mph flat out. Lsd wont fit in tds caseing either

Its a 3:23 - came standard in the 525i and the 3.8 M5. Will fit a 520i, should fit all 24valve 6cyl E34's

Wont fit lads you need a 525i subframe to put it in a 520i, found that out when I tryed to do it before and the lsd fits in the 520i caseing but its wrong will only end up doing harm

Wayne is right. Even though the 520 and 525 both have medium case diffs, the subframe and mounting points and stuff is different for some reason and even the dimensions of the cwp of the 525s are abit odd. They aren't either of the typical 188 case tyes but they still aren't a large case cwp either.

Once you get a 525 subframe and bits and pieces, it'll be no problem though
520 diff is a 3.46 normally so acceleration will be blunted a tiny bit alright but will be nice when cursing.
