man some amount of money going into it :O

neat as f**k!
Cheers lads! Sure is a lotta money but be worth it all in the end hopefully! Go big or go home! :P
Finally an update worth waiting for!
So 6 months on, quiet a lot of waiting, waiting for the right man to do the right job, the s14's heart is finally beating.
I originally gave the car to Stiv at MDTuning 6 months ago, but being a very busy and a very sought after man lately, with his great work being recognised more and more it was pushed aside and made me contemplate many times whether to get it done elsewhere. But I stuck to my guns, kept faith, had a little patience and waited for him to finally free up some time and he got to it. I originally asked him to do up a few switches, wire up a non vvt engine to an s14, and maybe just tidy up the fuse boxes a little to make the engine bay a little more presentable, get it running and map it. So here's the process;
One custom loom was made up to run everything the engine needed.
Everything was stripped from behind the dash and ran to ecu and all controls.
Gauges were wired in
All fuse boxes went on a severe diet and were impressively relocated to my glove box. I intend to make up a neater little box and holder for them in time.
Car was got running with not many problems arising which was a good sign, tuned, then mapped to 304bhp with 319 ftlbs of torque.
Got it home and done a little tidying and playing around to see what it could do.
Apexi Turbo Timer
Greddy Gauges are impressive. Little spaceship.
Reliable Profec b Spec 2 Greddy boost controller.
Safety comes first
Steering wheel is desperate, Custom GripRoyal ordered.
Took it for a little drive around, but more interested in getting it done and finished and having my fun in it when its done. The power is excellent and reliable, there when you want it and doesn't run out. Car grips like mad even with part worns all round due to the stiffness and rigid set up with solid bushings and poly bushes all round. But that doesn't stop the cusco two way throwing it out when the car boosts. It is impressive to go. Big ups to Stiv at MDTuning.
Very happy all round with the work completed, and so good to finally see it run, and run very well after two years of building. It was more or less two years to this day that I bought this car. Now to finish the body, bit of aligning of the front to do. Oil catch can and coolant overflow tank still to be added to the bay along with a nice bit of tidying and polishing. Few more interior bits. Then off to be sprayed soon.
