any room in that garage for one more?
Couple days off work and I'm knuckling in to this, the interior was fully stripped before and Ive put everything back together again, painted the carpet so it looks like new, dropped in some cusco rear coilovers, nice rear tein strut brace, a B pillar roof brace and FINALLY managed to source myself a 326 power wing. Resprayed the boot floor a gloss black and done a nice wire tidy in the back.
Tub of Black Velvet, actual carpet paint, it made some noticeable difference.
Resprayed the brace gold and threw in the boss kit and temporary OMP steering wheel
(And no, that isn't a screwdriver in the ignition, its some crazy little SnapOn screwdriver handle/key, came with the car, pretty funky haha)
Got me some cusco rears
Pretty happy with the 326 choice, looks a lot better lowered but gotta sort out the tracking a little better and run some slight camber and play with tyre size and stretch to keep the wheels under the arch. Hopefully this time tomorrow ill be pulling filler and dust out of my hair and I'll have the engine bay prepped.
So yeah.... Really got the finger out and knuckled into the engine bay prep and heres the results...
Re sealed everything that needed resealing in the bay
As we kept the welds to the outside of the engine bay as not to be seen, there was obviously the smallest of little grooves/knotches in the tubs that bugged me, very small, can only see up very close, so I gave each side a lick of filler and a nice sand down...
Then primerrrrrrrr timeeee.........
And that's a wrap for tonight... Have the paint ready for tomorrow anyway... Weel see how things go![]()
Looks great
