From what i remember ALOT of Tomei and GReddy stuff in that car when i had it, Tomei cam's,Injectoers,G Reddy turbo, manifold and intake, forged internals,......but who knows might not even be the same engine as the time i had it,just simply the engine cover moved over.

Been busy past couple days giving a hand here and there to the other lads and havent really got to mine to make any more real changes.

We burned out the bushes on one of the 180's.

Fitted all new arms and polybushes, hoping to do this to my own soon....

Started proper looking into my own car to try make heads or tails of the past stories, found some very good evidence as to what may have happened it.....

    Came from Charleville anyway....

Finally found some rust when I searched high and low on it, the usual 14 boot well, easy fix...

Makes me sad that previous red glowing up at me....

Cant wait to get at that battery bracket with an angle grinder and get sanding the engine bay...

Nice little after market anti roll bar...

That colour glowing at me again made me look even deeper into things....

And think I found the reason why it was sprayed white... She mustve got a tap! Poorly beaten out with a hammer but handy enough with filler... Guess that red colour was too dear to match and ended up doing it on the cheap... Which came in the colour white...

Hopefully dropping the subframes in the next two days. Then shultz the underneath and paint up the subframes... Get cracking on the engine bay then.

Have been busy the past while and havent really got a chance to update this, we extended the new unit and 4 more of our buttys have moved in so its been all hands on board the past while. Heres the update....

Picked myself up a mint Sr20det, straight out of a 180 brought in from Japan that hadnt even been vrtd yet. 60k miles. Loom currently been sourced for me by Japenese Performance....

Cracked open my old gearbox to find a nice little ORC Ogura clutch....

Unfortunately, part of the deal with the new engine was he got to keep the box and clutch.... Dammnit....

Got into the new part of the unit and work got immediately underway....

    Front subframes got dropped

Stripping back of the major surface rust began....

Got the arches back to get a proper look at where it needed to be rewelded...

Only one way of tidying up this, and its off to get tubbed in the coming week or two!

Etch Primed & High Build Primed what I had ground back to bring up a smooth finish...

Quick spray of stone chip sheild for the time being....

Now to do something with the inside....

Quick wire brush and Etch Prime...

Small bit of welding in the boot and a quick wire brush back, high build primer and a lick of raincoat... Tidied up a small bit I suppose...

    Out came the back subframe...

Found some solid bushings already put in.... welded in I may add... the japs mean business....

    Hupppp she goes' ...!

Nice wire brushing and a healthy coat of Schultz... Lick of clear coat to harden it up now today....

Even the gearboxes got a little TLC...

Hopefully off to be tubbed in the next fortnight, in the meantime subframes will be stripped, cleaned and repainted... and treated to some new polybushes.

Fair fucks to you lad your doing it all properly anyway ill be keeping an eye on this. The washers welded to the subframe means that your going to get good height on the subframe so all the better!

Just a little update so far on how the builds going... New arms on the way hopefully arriving tomorrow so full speed ahead cleaning up the subframes and replacing the bushes.... Lick of paint here and there, makes all the difference in cleaning it up....

    Got me some driftworks polybushes....

    Cleaned up the wishbones....

    Sprayed up the rear subframe...

Anti roll bars got a seeing to...

Actually only discovered as i was wire brushing the subframe, theres some extra support plates welded on... Japs meant business

Finding I had solid diff bushins was a plus too...

Attention to details becoming a big factor...

Second lick of paint tonight, made it a little goldier....

    Diff got a clean up...

    Black'll do, nothing crazy...

Picked myself up two front tein coilovers... Now to source two rear...

Must say taking out the old ones is some pain in the arse.... But nothing beats the feeling of getting in the new ones....

Now just to wait for the new arms coming tomorrow.... Clean up the front subframe, get it back rolling and off to be tubbed... Wont be long now and it'll all start coming together and I can get the running gear in...
