Thinking of a pearl white body and candy purple engine bay. Don't know yet, it's the two colours I personally love together and I haven't really thought about anything else, if I do I'll never pick a colour haha
Ah I love nothing more than a naked S-body, can't wait to come home and move mine into the new pad, I'm itching to get my hands dirty again. Nice to see your doing the same yourself!!!!
Holy Shit!!!!!!!!! Can't believe my eyes......i used to own this car.I ran a small import business back in the boom times and this was what i treated myself too when things were going well.
Was originally imported (frm what i remember) through Andy in Powervechicals who i got a good lot of stuff off,and again from what i remember was a Kazama Auto customer built car.
Wasn't a stroker at the time but ran a healthy 360bhp on the Power FC with all the googies n the engine.
I sold it to a fella from Cork i think in around 2008,and the last time i seen it was been drifted in Punchestown in 2009..........i nearly cried.
As car's go it was the 1 that got away and i should have defanitely held onto.
Why oh why did some dope ruin it................

Powder coated my bonnet hinges matt black in work today just to see what theyd come out like. Joys of having access to the powder coating booth and oven in my factory! Think I'll use that more often....
So one of my mates managed to get their hands on a crane a little earlier today. So we said we'd make a burst into it and take out his 180sx engine and mine. Not too much hassle at all taking it out.
Stripped my interior whilst waiting on him to arrive with the crane, found the sound denting had already been removed in the back....

Showed no signs of rust at all, but did finally reveal the factory colour we had suspicions that it was....
Sorted most of the crazy wiring underneath...
Began whipping out his engine...
Took out my turbo and manifold....
Found out I actually have an s15 turbo...
Compared the turbo in the 180 to mine....
And finally got out mine!
And thats a wrap for tonight, two sr's out and two naked s chassis' ready for engine bay prep work. Cant wait to get cracking on it. Still very undecided about a colour. Go crazy or keep it simple...? Hmmmm....
Paint the engine bay a pearl or mettalic grey! Its simple and classy looking in any well maintained engine bay or interior!

I think I Imported it in around 2006/2007.
It was a similar crazy kinda of pearl red that no fecking panel beater seemed to be able to match,so a local bodyshop done up that colour you see it in the pic at Japfest.It was a candy red with gold kind of metalic underneath (wasn't the best of paintjobs mind) but when the sun was shining it was mental.
I think the picture above was in taken in Japfest 2007.
Crazy to think some tool wrecked that car.Car was imported otherwise exactly as you see in the Japfest pic.Kazama Auto didn't really do things by halfs,only mod i needed to do was the respray.
Return it to her former glory bud.People still talk to me today about that S14.
This is music to my ears, at what stage did someone start taking out the goodies then, like the power FC and that, there's none of that malarkey in it now unfortunately, and what was the story with the internals of the engine??
