e36 lsd

what kind of money are e36 lsd's making?hard got?

i want it for a car with a 316 rear setup will one from any e36 fit?

318is one will fit 316,318,320 are all small case afaik but id say just weld the one you have, you can get an small case lsd (25%) but they're expensive and I heard they don't take kindly to a bit of hardship and will stop locking. I have an e36 never drove a daily with a welder before and I don't mind it at all, you just get the odd funny look when your parking like "hey, I think there's something wrong with your car there" lol

I paid 350 as far as I remember years ago, might have come down nowadays but doubt they're available for under 300 second hand - and then its a second hand diff at the end of the day could last week or forever...

you'd get a full m3 rear end for that with factory lsd but then the ratio is too low... depends what engine is in it ?

318is is 3.45/3.38 -95/95->

Too low anyway man. Its a nice enough car to drive so not sure you wanna loose that... but on the other hand factory bmw diffs are shitish for sideways fun anyway so depends what you wanna do with it.

thats abit of a disaster,i'm used to welded's in my tramping car so guessing a lsd will just wreck my head
