I will try & shorten the shocks tomorrow or Wednesday as I just put them on as they come.

Not sure what spring rate is as they were the ones that came with the BC kit......hopefully will get it sorted soon!!

My e36 does this as well not every time but a lot, did it before I put in coilovers and still did afterwards..

If they are standard rates, they'll more than likely be only 6kg all round which are way too soft.

8kg at the front and 10kg at the rear isn't bad though or can go 8-10 and 10-14 if its just for track use.

6 and 8 are nice if just looking for road use and not driving it too hard.

I have lengthened the shocks. I removed the bottom shock bolt & jacked the spring up so it just takes the slack up.

I contacted BC & they suggested doing this.

I then had to lengthen the shock by about 1.5 inches to line up with the bolt hole.

This made a huge difference, the tramping is nearly gone, just a bit of a tremor now & then.

Ordered some 8kg BC springs for the rear. Hopefully this will improve things even more

Good stuff. 8kg will make the rear abit more planted anyway. 6 should be fine on the road at the front as the M52b28 weighs feckall anyway
