    Default S13 200SX Daily Driver v2

    Right where do I start....

    Basically went from this

    to this

    more here: http://driftireland.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32635

...and then the car got robbed, rallied and diffed to death... some of you have probably seen the video and damaged pictures that were on here (not sure where the thread is gone).

Anyway so the car came back needing panels, bit of jigging and straightening, etc... Can't really tell in pics but the front panel is fairly out of shape and it started rusting fairly bad wherever the paint cracked.

Couldn't find a front section anywhere at the time and then I seen a 94 200sx for sale with a rattly bottom end at decent money so I snapped it up for parts.

Turned out this was actually a better shell than my own - even straightened with the rust, etc. it would never be the same and for an English car the new one was in very good nick.

    So engine out

Engine bay stripped, sanded, welded couple spots, and repainted..

Completely underestimated how long this would take - fuck me there is a lot in there once the engine is out.

Got an engine from Alan Opel, threw on some external bits off my old one and she was ready to go in...

Engine in - bypassed intercooler temporarily to see if engine would start..

And no - not getting spark so hopefully it'll be a small issue... after a few attempts at it, I decided to leave it for the moment and try and get the car into paint asap and I'll try to get it going after.

So onto body prep.. have feck all pics of it anyway

I've repaired the pignose bumper so I'll be using that again and the chuki skirts, etc... Hopefully doing some priming tonight and then painting the rest over a few sessions in the next week...

More to follow over the next few weeks as it gets painted, etc... and put back on the road...

    Also massive thanks to:

Stevo, Alan_Opel and Rory (slithertooth) for hooking me up with bits FOC
And also Niki(sixx69), Daragh and anyone else involved in starting and/ or hosting the paypal thread on the site.
And of course thanks to everyone who chipped in.. I got €220 euro which I'll be putting towards a new pair (or set) of wheels to replace the destroyed meisters.

    Cheers lads

I've got a few goodies for this one - well some basic enough upgrades that should make it a good 'un

cheers dude... should've dropped in an said hello, well do if your around again anyway

    .....

    a wee update anyway...

cars fully painted now... bit of dust/dirt in the paint but expected in the conditions we’re painting in and it should look mint (literally ha) after a flatten and a polish….. the colour is strange - in certain light it looks savage, just the way I want it and then in other light it looks way too green... so I'm reserving judgement until I see the whole thing outside in the daylight from diff. angles etc...

running wise... the loom had about 20 wires was burnt out in a few different places (both sides of interior fuse boxes) and I couldnt see it complete to guess what to splice in - so I've replaced the whole thing - a few small bits and hopefully she'll start tonight...

Still looking for wheels anyway before I give up and get 5 stud hubs...
Also need intercooler core or even kit at the right money at this stage, parcel shelf, and wouldn't mind a cat back if something daycent came up - pm me if anyone has any of the above...

    And some random pics….

did a (very) quick job washing down the later bump in case i decide to throw it on for a bit of change

    CUNT:

and starting to come together slowly

got a very flattering pic of the wing outside... if the car looks similar to this overall I'll be a very happy bunny
