    ok so maxxis maz1 " drift tyre" are absolute shite delaminated after 3-4 laps on one side

    didnt fair out any better with nankang either


    what tyres do people find are good for prolonged abuse and what pressure do ye run ( rear tyres)

    X2 on the kendas used them for the first time in tynagh on sunday, loads of grip and one set lasted me from 9 until about half 3 or 4, and at 60 for 235 45 17s il definitely be getting them again.

    Ha well the last day i was in tynagh i used 6 sets, now sayin that i wasnt drivin for 1 session betwwen 12-1 as a brake hose burst an had to go home for a spare, think i had 28-30 in them on a standard power 180sx.

    Not used these yeat or been drifting in a while, going to try Achillies next time im out tho. Read some good reports on them. Their not badly priced either.

    Don't mind the fact that they delaminated up in tynagh , absolutely any tyre will delaminate up there if you run onto the concrete its a joke really ....i used maxxis the last day i was in wgh ,the same pair lasted me for about an hours practice on the Saturday,about a half hour of practice on Sunday morn, 3 battles and about a half hour practice at the end.....they did begin to lose a bit of grip by my 3rd battle but even after the half hour session at the end i had half the thread left which is pretty good in fairness

    what your sayin is makin a lot of sense there alright

    an absolute disaster trying to keep tyres on the car 2 new sets hardly brought me ten laps
