Default 1.5 or 2 way diff

Well lads can anyone tell me how you know the difference between a 1.5 or 2 way diff when u drive it. I put a 1.5 in my car the weekend and at low speed when i turn i hear a knock sound. Just wondering if this is normal or is it a 2 way i got. Its a second hand diff in the casin.

Nearly all 2-ways & 1.5-ways tend to get abit noisy, new diff oil should help that.
