not nececarily, it would be handy alright and lovely to have an inline pump...

there is an easier choice of mechanical pump from a 524td... but none the less the only thing different between the mechanical and electrical is how the governor is opened.. the actual working mechanics of the thing are the same and completely interchangable..

will be going for 12mm plunger & that can be got from any sort of tractor or truck with a bosch rotary pump.. and a higher lift cam plate from an Iveco cos they have one of the highest lift.. more push more diesel that all requires a MLS headgasket and a turbo aswell.. a while off that stage yet the bank account is looking shook still in college

A bit more fancy control of the chip wouldnt go astray, maybe linearly changing with the accelerator position would be very nice might concider working on that after exams in january if I sort out this top end spluttering... oh and an electronic timing advance aswell
