Ive had this car nearly 3 years now, and fancy a change and something bigger for the family for next years holiday..
2006 Octavia TDI Combi Elegance model
220,000 kilometers on the clock, 112,000 when i bought it 3 years ago!
Serviced religiously (8000 klms) as any of the portlaoise lads will vouch for and only ever Liqui moly 15/30 longlife service oil used
NCT till 07/14
Taxed till 07/14
Brand new turbo 10-11 months ago
Solid LUK flywheel and clutch kit @136,000 KLMS
Four brand new bridgestone tyres fitted june this year
2nd Timing belt and water pump replaced @180,000 Kilometers
Wishbone bushing replaced on drivers side (easier one) for nct in june
New wishbone and bushings on passenger side (cheaper than two new bushings) for nct in june
New pads all round in March
Electric windows all round
Power steering
ABS
Electric heated mirrors
Adjustable arm rest
Indicators and clear lights in door mirrors
Aircon only serviced last year
Huge boot
Good clean honest car
Pollen filter changed once a year also
Two original keys and all owners handbooks and service history till i got it, i service it myself so no stamps after i bought it. Valet done 3-4 times a year since i got it..
Car has never given any trouble bar wear and tear replacement parts (clutch and turbo)
No bad bad points to it really bar i have had it registered and used it as a taxi sparingly and only drove it a handfull of times this year and last year as i have another job the last two years, but cheap tax means i kept it registered lol €92 for the year! And the usual skoda worn drivers door card from elbow leaning on it, all bloody octavia's are shocking for that!
No holes in dash ect from meter as i have a mirror meter fitted.
Drove this from dublin to the very south of france in june with the family and a full boot and it tipped along nicely even fully loaded, but ideally i want a bigger car for next years holidays so will px/give cash for a 130bhp tdi Alhambra or Sharan in around same year 6 speed box would be better for the long trips away bt![]()
€4500
