Default diff into a r32 gtst

How easy is it to fit a diff to a r32 gtst. I bought a diff in the housing to make it a bit easier. I have no lift so its goin to be done on axle stands. What do i need to do? Just worried about the rear hicas pipes. Do they need to be disconnected? What needs to be disconnected and what does not??? Any help appreciated.

Does your car have abs? if so make sure the new casing is an abs casing too or it won't fit without getting a matching propshaft.

Aside from that its pretty easy although if it hasn't been off before the bolts can be very tight. Also you'll need decent spanners as the half shaft bolts will round very easy with sh1te spanners.

You have 5 bolts on the halfshafts on each side, 4 bolts on the probshaft(all 14mm)

The you have 4 17mm bolts holding the rear of the casing to the subframe and 2 17mm bolts holding the front.

If you have got abs then be carefull removing the sensor(10mm bolt) as they can be siezed and are broken easily
