    Talking Daily MX-5

Long time forum follower, long time drift follower, but I finally got around to getting my own car, for years Ive been putting money into camera gear for FreshFix but I need my own car... and it turns out to be a blow drying, hair weaving, colour tinting MX-5 and I love it...

I had the car about the week and just to start ripping it apart somewhat being dis-owned by my Dad, but ill explain that. The passion for cars in my family has been going for years now and it mainly started when my Dad bought a little old MX-5 8 years ago. It was the car i learned to drive in on Dollymount beach and would polish it every weekend even before I had my licence, but old age and mid life crisis over, He thought it was time to shift the car to a new home...

Time went by and I saved some $$$$$ and knew I wanted a little Miata. After looking for a few weeks, by pure fluke the little old Mazda was up for sale.

Something like an oul cat, the little Miata is back home....

Since then, Its been dropped about 50mm on VMaxx Coilovers, had the arches rolled, and some Rota RKR 15x8 ET0's fitted...

    Plans for the future:
    - Square Jap Plates
    - Spray front bumper (stone chips)
    - More negative camber all round
    - Dropped a little more
    - Project G Sideskirts
    - Project G Hardtop Spoiler
    - Boot Spoiler
    - Straight through exhaust
    - Remove the chrome roll over bars
    - Find lip for the front
    - DO SOME SKIDS

I know its a long winded gay-ass sentimental story but sure.....

More pictures to come once more bits arrive...

Cheers lads. 15x8 ET0's seem to just fit them perfect. The price difference in between the Rota's and Watanabe's was just too big to justify so reps will do for now. Theres a teeny but of poke, so the camber will be sorted and ready to drop it a small bit more, theres plastic underbody rubbing a good bit so thats getting trim and raised if possible.

The rear coilovers are millimitres away from the driveshafts so it may not go down anymore on the rear but thats a job for the weekend

The car looks awesome. I was never a huge fan of the mk2 MX-5's but this one has me won over ..... I don't think there is any need to give yourself such a hard time about the car, especially since they have an excellent reputation for handling.
