r32gtst upgrade info needed

Hi guys new to this site. I drive a 92 gtst skyline. I have the basics done, exhaust, de-cat,induction kit, fmic, coilovers, running .9 bar and doing 249bhp. Now im looking for more power. I was thinking of a emanage system because Jr performance have good deal on them and a hks 2530 turbo. Anybody done this and what it drive like as i want a daily driver not a lag monster. Any info welcome.

welcome aboard! i have the same mods as you on my rb20det and had also bought a 2530 for it! it certainly wouldnt be a lag monster, as there only a small bit bigger than a standard rb20 tubby. to get the max power out of one youd need larger injectors and a good map. ask in the technical section for more info! happy posting!

2530 is near the same tubby i had on the RB25 with decent enough power from it, youll deffo need injectors and afm if you dont go with a maf sensor ecu like the fcon, mapping i can only recommend TDP, and ive been to a few.

how is things lad, i had rb20det in my r32, you can go with intake and exhaust mainfold good ecu, e manage and a map from JR should do the job the finnest , boost controller and maybe larger turbo and metal headgasket and you are good for 1.4 bar boost i had my rb20det running on 1.9 bar boost with standard turbo but gasket went after 6 months.
