How much did ya pay for the 1.8 diff, if ya don't mind me asking? Thinking of picking one up for the FB, direct fit.

Diff, Half shafts and driveshaft think i paid around 100 for..
Got a load of bits off a lad in swords, really well priced.
I bought 2 sets of front hubs, 1.8 diff drive and half shafts, rear disks and calipers all for 200.
Cant wait to see your FB

I've B5ZE cams here (well, there still in a B5ZE ha) that are meant to be higher lift than the B6. You're welcome to the engine if ya like, you'll just have to whip it out of the car. Hasn't been run in ages.

Cheers but i have been thinking about what to do power wise, i do think about buying turbo kits and all but then i remind myself why i bought this yoke, mpg etc...
If anything is going to change under the bonnet it will be getting an SR, maybe even a f20c..
But for now its just going to stay standard

If you were thinking of going the turbo route, get an mk2.5 s-vt 6 speed box which is rated to 300bhp asfaik and just turbo the engine you have. If you know someone with a welder it'll be a lot cheaper than a conversion, as reliable as an sr, and probably more economical if driven right.
Edit---just seen this is 1.6 dont think the 6 speed box fits!
