There comes a time in everyone’s life when they realise it’s time to change a few things. For some it’s drinking less, others it’s drinking more. For many it’s that time when you start to put economy and comfort over fun, your coilovers are higher and softer, you ask yourself if that exhaust is really suitable. What happened to enjoying cars? And when did it all become about who could spend the most money?
Lower, harder, completely impractical, cheap, but seriously fun (the car by the way).

The car was cheap, I spent very little on it after buying it and I just want to enjoy it. I rolled the paint on (YUP). More so to see what it would be like than anything, the plan was to spray it but with the space I had it wasn't feasible so I went at it with a roller. It’s far from perfect mainly due to my laziness and impatience if i’m honest, but it’s the colour I wanted and it’s better than it was when I got it. I am doing d4c in July so if time and space permits I will wet sand it back and give it a coat with the gun to tidy it up, but honestly I am not bothered. Less work gone into it means less worry about scratching or breaking anything.

Technically it’s not finished (when is a car ever) but I want to drive it not look at it in the garden. Have a hydro, front bumper, passo wing & door that will go on eventually and I need to get a radio (still rocking the one from japland).

I love how it sits so low but the bottom of it is going to be destroyed at this height.

A replacement k&N panel filter is the extent of engine mods. No shiny bits here, apart from that rocker cover :icon_cool:

Hopefully this doesn't draw attention, although the car will probably take care of that by itself #AINTCARE

Arches were rolled/flared with a hammer

@Darragh The number plate is just laziness, I forgot to fill old holes and they looked mank uncovered. Will get around to doing it and mounting a square one on a bracket eventually.

@Peter I definitely get the sticker thing and it's my first reaction when I see them but I actually really like it and without sounding gay I needed to break up the green :-).

Oh and it will be used in anger.

    Thanks for the comments :-)
