Well lads while im waiting on parts to rebuild the sr20 i said id go at cleaning up the shell abit. Plans are to clean all the inner arches back and re stonechip the lot clean down the engine bay and spray that all up, spray the cage and the interior and remoe all the arms and subframes and clean them all up and spray them too so the cars minty fresh again.
Small bit of suface rust creaping in so i said ill nip it in the bud b4 it gets worse and will have nothing to worry about in years to come.

    Few pics

Removing the front subframe, coilovers hubs etc

Few of the bits i pulled of it so far

have the engine loom taken out now and ive just the brake servo and master cylinder to remove b4 i get cracking.

going to clean all the flaky stonechip out and redo the lot.

    As it sits now

looking to possibly do engine bay and interior kawasaki green and the cage white but not decided yet fully.

well lads small update on the track car.

Removed the rear subframe and assembly to be stripped down and sprayed up.

Started work on cleaning the wheel arches up as they were a tad rusty and undersealer was lifting.

I sanded back the rust and treated it with rust remedy.

I then sealed the arches and undersealed/stonechiped them.

I did the same to the back arches also

I then started on stripping the interior to get it ready for prep and paint.

Removed the cage thats being sprayed also

    removed the dash

Removed the engine wiring for the car

    wiring loom ecu etc removed

Making a start at sanding down the drivers footwell

Have to finish sanding down and preping the interior for paint then snad and prep all the subframes arms etc and can throw that all back together then its just the matter of getting the engine sorted in the new year.
