D-Mac clearly lost I thought, just had really shallow lines in that battle. Would have been very fortunate to get a one more time. But I'm sure he's delighted the new car ran so well just out of the box. As far as I remember from last night, the calls were pretty much spot on in the battles. Can't think of any surprising ones really? Qualifying scores a bit all over the place though!

Agree with Brian there... DMacs lines werent so hot all day. We never seen Friday practise i thought we were on for big things seeing qualifying but he told me that was his best run all day. He was way too shallow so had to be Forsbergs win.

SOme epic battles Dai looked soooo quick.

Still DMac 5th after round 1 where he has ALWAYS struggled is by far his best start to a season. Think he loves HOTlanta too so roll on round 2!!
