300 would be a good price for an engine. Not easy sold, no market for them really aftermarket wise and they're are not an engine that would give up unless they were very neglected

300 would be ok for engine,
would you be intrested in the whole car for €800, there are a lot of new parts on it and some still not fitted, the car is in primer,
there is some new parts with it
New BAS Hood with rear glass window (still in box) cost £400 sterling,
    New 15" alloys, good tyres
New front sus arm lower R/H (mazda),
New Front and Rear droup outs (mazda) Rears not fitted,
    New rear calipers,
New timing belt, new water pump, pullys and spring fitted last month,
New rokkor coilover fitted last week,
New r/h handbrake cable not fitted,
New rear light (mazda) still in box,
    New battery,
and some filters still in boxes.
I as also have a spare wing, bonnet, front subframe, knuckle with disc and caliper,
and the paint to paint the car,
There not much rust on it just a little on cills, and the rear subframe
and needs a boot lid as there's a bit of rust inside it,
the ecu was recondition in the Uk as it got wet (common problem), cost £180,
Its an Irish car with tax book,
engine is runing great, gearbox is good, not sure what diff is in it but did spin both back wheels as i was taking it out of garage,
all new parts were bought from mx5 parts in the uk. I would take €800 ovno for the lot. just need the room in shed.
    Cheers,

If you break it I will take the coilovers. Pm me if you wish.

Also if you know Robert in Swords, I can get a number if you don't. he surely has a couple of engines and is sound to deal with.
