Does anyone know what cams Francis O Shea fitted in the S15? Carpo might?

He's running same turbo as me and can remember him telling me he got mike deane to fit cams to get rid of the lag whatever they were
    Magic cams
stantard red top s13 cams reduce lag

Its going to be 2.2SR with TD06
Either Brian Crower 264degree 12.06mm lift
Tomei poncams which are 260 11.20

I read on a site with the Brian Crower cams they advise buying uprated springs and retainers but i dont want to go mad money..

you can get calico coated bearings. There ment to last that bit longer and be a bit better but how true that is i dunno.

ACL bearings are ment to be changed after a year i think but the calicos should last longer. I used calico coated main bearings in mine to save having to pull the crank out again anytime soon.

There was a small difference in the finish on them compaired to the acl ones, the calico ones had a smoother surface finish. thats what the coating is for i suppose.

Doubt ill see any silverware lad unless its to eat my dinner with

I will go for a non seeded license alright, not that il be too good for amatuer but ill just go for it balls out for the year, see what happens.

Havent decided who's building or mapping it yet, i pm'd TDP about boring and fitting liners and that id possibly get them to map it aswell but they didnt seem interested.

link on its way to ya lad

Are changing the crank with your rebuild or will it still use a standard one?
If its a different one i might be best to check what size bearings it takes just incase its not made to the same tolerances nissan used
