Default e36 compact with 2.5tds engine

have a 98 3 series compact with a 5 series 2.5tds engine in it. only one in ireland apparently, great pull from it. 5 series engine had 90k miles on it going in (apparently)

has m interior, ac scnitzer reps in 18", m bumpers, hid's.

weld the diff up and this would be a very capable yoke, the torque is like 220 on them stock, and they return about 30mpg

failed the nct on a few things, needs ball joints, outer i think, angel eyes need looking at, needs rear discs few other minor things.

i just need rid of it to help fund a new motorbike.

900e is all i want for it. the loom is probably worth half that to someone thinking of doing this conversion.

Don't suppose you'd still have the E34 sump bits to sell with it?

What was it originally? 316 or 318ti?

What is it on the logbook? Has it been nct'd since conversion?

was a 1.7tds originally, still 1.7 on logbook.

yeh, the conversion was done about 2 years ago and it was nctd when i bought it. the engine size doesnt matter when going for nct.

heres the full list of nct fails, im gonna start workin on sortin them out if it doesnt sell in next week or so.

abs and airbag light dont come on when car is turned on. steering wheel was changed to a 5 series m sport one. just needs a wire split into something that comes on and goes off on dash, like the battery.

reverse lamps - only 2 of 4 bulbs working. (needs two replaced)

zenon lights - the dips and sides are coming on together when lights switched on. cant seperate them. dunno if theyre wired wrong or what. personally i was gonna take them out.

    rear discs needed

    front ball joints need replaced.

handbrake needs to be tightened!! bmw handbrakes are shite.

thats everything it failed on.. nice honest ad!

sellin two things at moment, whichever sells first the other one gets kept!!
