Default Newest addition to my collection - Sr86

I just got into drifting in the last year or so. I bought a 180 off seamie in PPC and went from there doing practice days here and there and especially in tynagh.
as much as i loved the 180 n not caring too much about panels n bumpers (thank god for cable ties) i still only wished i was in a cam but including the bang off the sr20.

The idea of building an sr86 from scratch or bare shell was an option but space, time and overall cost ruled that out. I started looking for an unfinished project. Ended up trying to deal on 2 cars but couldnt agree euros. I put it on the back shelf then for a while until i got chatting to Brian Ledwith (Leadfoot) who had for sale almost exactly what i was after. Big thanks to Brian for being so easy deal with and straight up.

    spec:
    vanette rear axle conversion
    custom propshaft
Trd red adjustables in the rear
    Coilovers in front
    intercooler and hard pipe kit
cusco 6 point cage w/ door bars
    FRP wings and quarter panels
    15" ssr mesh wheels
    battery relocated behind passenger seat.
    side exit exhaust
manual rack w/ extra lock spacer

Basically i bought the car minus an engine. Car is wired for what i believe to be a late sr20det blacktop (s14)but non vvt. All mounts etc are there.

some of you guys will know the car no doubt and hopefully have some info or history on it to add to what iv dug up myself.
im looking forward to getting out and molesting some tyres in it

No. You cut the mounting points off the ae86 axle and weld them onto the vanette axle. I havent done it but it seems very straight forward
