I seen this car in person, and its fair cool lookin. The rot was pretty bad when I seen it last, at lease Most of it gone now . Some inspiration Kyle would be "rockyautos" one they done. That thing is sick!!! I must email you on some more info on them machines dude , if its any use to ya.

Story dude. Yeah have the milling machine down now.....just getting to learn the lathe now next and tig welding. Have a veteran showing me the ropes so sure to learn a thing or two. Yeah any more info you have send it on would be handy!!!! Thanks.

Yeah all the chassis is done now. Just the doors, wings, a pillars and boot now left with some small rust. Engine bay is painted up and halfway though underbody sealer on the underneath and then schultz. Cleaned up the engine today and doing the front subframe next, then put it back together. He is ordering a new interior now as well. Getting there :-)

Finished off the under body sealer, Sub-frame painted up, new polyurethane tension rod and steering rack bushes fitted, fitted the sub-frame and suspension, started getting stuck into the wiring and ancillaries, Engine is ready to go back in tomorrow...just have to Schultz the under body and arches

Cheers lads. The colour the car is now is not the original it had been changed in the past...The orange that the engine bay has been painted is the original Datsun factory colour. As I mentioned previously it is being done in stages as it is a daily driver and the owner doesn't want to take it off the road for too long of a period at a time. Pain in the ass for me as I think its a waste not doing a full restore but some people don't listen! ha The car will be back in a couple of months again for the best part....to be stripped down and the rest repaired and full respray...going to try convince him to put arches and some dish or spacers!

I have the engine back in and the majority of the wiring done, the guy that was at it before just started snipping wires at random when taking it apart rather than unplugging...plus 40 years of different people chopping and changing left a bit to tidy up!
Moisture got inside the distributor also and had no spark so wouldn't turn over, taking it apart and cleaning it and should be good to fire up in the next couple of days....Mondello tomorrow so will take a few pics tomorrow night or Monday and post em up....
