Default Engine bay ideas zenki s14 (road car)

right first of all, heres the car

have the engine out being built at the min, planning on moving the battery to the boot and removng any unnecessary holes, bracket ancillaries etc!...

the dilemma...do i paint the bay a mad accent colour ie candy pink or similar or just keep the lp2,or keep lp2 and add a metal flake?...ideas suggestions welcome!

Will Ya tub the front arches while your at it? Might need it in the future might aswell get it done now as its not alot of extra work as there will be a few holes to weld in the standerd tubs anyway? You can buy car trailer tubs off e bay, Cut in half weld them up and presto.

Keep lp2 and polish the rocker cover and eeverythin else, and hide as much wiring as possible. Its a classy looking car no need to go lary in the engine bay.

I'd say keep it the standard colour and smooth it. Depends how mad you want to go though and is it for show too, if youve the engine out I'm sure you clean it up a bit.
But once you start smoothing it's hard to know when to stop.

This is nice and looks clean but took a lot of relocation:

Ah i suppose Ya might never need it it would give you more clearance for wider wheels i had to beat mine in a bit to make room for lock on the new wheels, ill be doing it down the road, should need it for extra lock but Im not sure on the latter. If i was going through the hassle of painting and cleaning it up id do it. Look up DOD on here his ps13, he just bought his tub off the bay i believe Cut and welded it up and it looks awsome. Will pay if you ever need it in future
