    Default Not new, but its been a while

    Well lads, im Liam from tipp, havent been on in ages, since i had my silvia a few years back!

    Ive been lookin around the site for the last few weeks on the hunt for a drift tramp for the track, but finaly donedeal came up trumps with a nice little R32 Gts-t for me, bodywork was fairly mint.........

    .......WAS :P but more on that later...

    Came out of the backarse of galway, 9 hours from leaving the house til hittin back home, but was well worth it.

    few pics the day after i got it... got some stickers on the window, gave it a wash and sprayed the wheels straight away!!





    Got the back lights workin after a bit of tinkering







    Came with a few nice goodies, fixed back seat, nice big FMIC, and a newish front bumper, welded diff, other than that its BOG standard!!







    stripped out to the last, well half arsed needed alot of cleaning up and a new fuel pump, seats, harness, and the boost pipes were just thrown on, we didnt get all them issues fixed til the end of my first day out... big mistake

    Here she was ready for the first day out, only had it a couple of days and was my first time takin it for a spin, was fairly excited to say the least!!



    driving it down the road, seemed fairly dead, spent most of the mornin tightening boost piped and blocking up things ha!! but the clips were all fairly shit and we spent most of the day havin to fix them again and again!



    when we did get it goin it went like stink, was delighted with it, was gettin braver and braver coming into the bends... gettin more sideways, then disaster struck!! i got too cocky for myself, very little skill behind the wheel plus had no restraints was gettin thrown around the car like a ragg doll, and on top of standard suspension... was hard to handle, so was goin to fast and it flicked back the opposite direction when i wasnt expecting it and just hit the tyres... HARD!!











    Thanks be to god there wasnt much damage done, blessed the windows didnt smash!! and i got out for a few more better runs with no problems at all! was a good first day, got all the main problems ironed out and now have a fair idea what i need for the next day out

    1. Stiffer suspension
    2. harnesses!!!!
    3. better cli[s for boost pipes
    4. and most important, some more rubber haha!!





    i bet the quater back out as good as i could myself, twil do for now til i get a bit better, then i might get a propper job done, or wider quaters...




    Got the front bumper test fitted too, looks good, and the gtr grill and bonnet are cool, alot nicer than the standard ones







    Thats it for now, next couple of bits to do is get some nice hard coilovers and rails for the sparco fixed back

    Thanks steve, for the track, got the logbook with it too so maybe i might put it on the road, just to make it handyer to get to the track, instead of buyin a trailer and that, ill just do the bare minimum to get it road legal!!

    And i got it up about half an hour past spidal, yourman was dead on aswel, id say he didnt have the boost pipes on right during the time he had it and thaught the engine or turbo was fucked, coz he wouldnt let me take it for a spin (becuase it was dark and no lights!!) and i got it cheapish enough haha! but i took a fair gamble takin it without a test drive, but it sounded good and healthy and bodywork was pretty good, so if the engine was gone it woulda stil been worth it! and throw an sr into her

    Ha wouldn't let u drive it. Gamble paid off anyway fair balls to ya, keep wrecking it
