    Smile My R32 GTR

    Hey,

Just thought it was about time to start a project thread on my jammer as she's starting to come along nicely now..

I've got the R32 GTR I've been dreaming about since the day I really gained my interest in proper* cars.. In fact, this exact GTR is the car that influenced me from the kitted up Civics, Levins etc and see the light..

It's my daily driver/combined track car so while I do have plans I've to keep her relatively reliable & drivable at the same time It's taxed & was just NCT'd so everything is in order for the time being!

Let me know what you think?

    Here is the current A/M spec list;

    Tein HA Coilovers
    Driftwork Camber adjustable upper links
    Driftworks HICAS replacement bar
Tein castor adjustable front tie rods
    Brake Master Cyclinder Stopper

    New HKS pod filters
    Nismo cold stat
    Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
3.5 inch stainless steel exhaust with bung
    Aftermarket downpipes
    Steel Inlet manifold gasket
    New Manifold to turbo gaskets
    ACT Organic Clutch
    Greddy Oil Cooler
    Greddy Oil Filter Relocation Kit
    Greddy Profec-B Boost Controller
    Power-FC with Commander
    Phormula KS-3 Knock Alarm
    Japspeed 50mm Alloy Rad
    Autometer Boost Gauge
    New Battery

EBC Yellowstuff pads front and rear
R34 GTR 9inch forged wheels (track & winter)
Ultralite Nurburgring 18x9.5 with new Toyo Proxes C1S for Summer driving.

TSC Evo 4WD controller which is the best mod invented for these cars! I can control how much power I want though the front at all times.. I also have the ability to put her full RWD which is just epic with the power.

    Mileage
    101,000 KM

    So far I've bought;

    Ultralite Nurburgring 18x9.5 alloys

    N1 water pump

A couple of gasket sets (turbo, intake & exhaust)

    A Carbon Culture GTR bonnet

An upgraded sound system that fits into standard mounts so doesn't look out of place (standard was SHITE) - Sub is relatively subtle in the boot

    Full timing belt kit,

Adjustable cam pulleys (not being installed - €50 if anyone wants them)

    A new GTR key

And a few other small bits and pieces...
I also have a water/methanol injection kit which is due to be installed/mapped together. This should be done over the coming weeks.

Plans over the coming future is to upgrade the brakes with either R34 Brembos or else a larger 8 pot kit (undecided on brand yet), I'll be upgrading the turbos , injectors & AFM's to up the power a bit.
I'll have her at ~600hp & ~540ft-lb by October - Well, that's my goal anyway..

We've had our fair share of trouble already but sure that's to be expected with a 22 year old high performance beast... It's a constant work in progress but certainly worth it!

The only expense that actually hurt was this!

Anyway, I'll keep this updated with progress!

    Thanks a mill!
Yeah I was dying to change the R34 GTR wheels for these/similar, not sure why I just never really clicked with the R34 wheels ... I am delighted with the results!

    Thanks pal!
Possibly, I'll have a think about it and let you know - I was gonna keep them for track/Winter wheels but if someone has a 34 and wants to go for that look then I'd prefer to see them used rather then wasted in my garden

Feel free to PM me an offer in the meantime

Thanks pal... The R34 wheels never really clicked with me to be honest, I've always wanted to replace them and I've always really liked the Ultralites.
When I seen them come up at that price I just couldn't resist haha.

    Thanks!
Yeah, live in Templeogue ;-) I had a red 14a before this but a horrible Legacy B4 in between the two so there would of been a gap.

    What do you drive?
