    Default my s14 drift build

said id throw this one up, itl be a slow one as funds allow but iv wanted to give drifting a shot after having a few rwd road cars so after about two years of saying i wud here it is my soon to be drift car.. itl be a lot of work but its a great base and has potential.. if only i cud say the same about the driver!

    shes basic enough..
    spec is as follows:
    low km blactop sr
    stage 2 excedy
    stainless manifold,elbow,downpipe and thrust exhaust
    s15bb turbo
    hks ssqv
    adj tension rods
    adj kyb shocks and springs
rays volk 17x8 and 17x9 wheels with ultralite spacers..

thats pretty much it.. good few changes to be made..

iv started work on it already and picked up a greddy fmic last week and fitted it..stripped the interior and trim..

    plans are:
weld the diff if ratio is good if not swap out for decent ratio and weld that too..
    fit seats and harness's
    install hydraulic h/b
    get coilovers

then do a few drift days to get started, plan on building it up over the winter to be ready for the 2013 drift season.. and tips and suggestions advice greatly appritiated! thanks steve!

you have what looks to be a good shell to begin with! keep the bumpers too, if it's drifting plastic can be repaired waaaaayyyy easier than frp. keep it simple and strip the tits out of it

Great base car lad......was such a waste looking out the window at her for so long Me and Noel are looking forward to seeing her getting wrecked around a track.......

In the words of Noel a few nights ago "atleast he is gonna make use of her and not hard park it down cahalanes like a fag" or something like that.......in his angry voice :P

    update:

right got to work on the diff and back subframe.. dropped the whole lot and got out the grinder with the wire brush!

an hour or so later she was all clean and painted..

next was the diff and she wanted to be welded:

once that was done i painted it and cleaned the back casing cover..

next on the list is paint the inside of the car... more updates soon..
