Smile Dont know how I havnt joined sooner, oh ye I have been living under a rock

So I suppose I should give you all a little backround info.

First time I was ever exposed to drifting or rwd in general was seeing my mates older brothers AE86 Corrolla leaving my school gates sideways after school one day (I think I was about 13). I always wondered how in American movies cars always slid around corners in the chases but I never saw it in Ireland! Then I asked my friend and he says (sher all di shit we hav iz dat front weel driuve bollox) yes im from Dublin but no I dont sound like that

Anyway that was it I simply typed rear wheel drive corrolla into the oul dial up and the rest is history. I am however one of those unfortunate chaps who couldnt afford a proper RWD car in school, or in college, but now I work

Im currently working in the oil industry so spend 6 months out of the year where there are very few cars (at sea)(where I currently am but when I get back I plan on picking up my very first RWD car at the age of 23...how sad:'(

So everyone on here be my new friends because unlike most I am the ONLY one out of my group of mates now that even knows what RWD is which is an embarassment! My mates still ask if I have a concious when I talk about 2, 2.5 or 3 litre cars because of emissions and that (i did mention I work in the oil industry right so no I dont unfortunately:P

But thats getting off the point, Il be back in Ireland in a week and want to spend about 6000 on my first RWD car so if anyone is selling let me know! Il prob post a WANTED thread in the clasSified bit but just to give you inquisitive folk a heads up

(i do still have a soft spot for the 86 corrollas and truenos but will consider anything. once its japnese. pre 99. 6 cylinder(bar the AE86). and turbo (bar the AE86)

So there you have it! Nice to meet you all and im looking forward to any seeing any cars that may be for sale;P
