What did i break??

I bought an S13 last week and i was out diffing and messing around the cross roads last night.I was spinning about for an hour or so.

as i pulled away from the last cross above my house a tapping noise came from under the bonnet.I pulled in and checked and the noise is coming from the top of engine on the right hand side.

i started the car this morning,it barely rattles when cold but give it a little rev you'd hear it clearly.

Did I do major damage?

I`d say you might want to invest in rocker stoppers. Do a search on DW, but dont tell them your a differ as you`ll get flamed like a whopper.

any chance its got an sr and you were banging it off the limiter for a while?

if your lucky youve just broken some rocker arms. If your unlucky you may ballsed up your engine good n proper

No barely hit the limiter cause the roads were wet so i was taking it kinda easy plus im only a beginner so im just starting to learn.

Get someone that knows SR's to have a look at it for ya.
Take off the rocker cover and investigate.
