i can modify ca boxes to fit sr's and vice versa
Just a matter of swapping the bellhousings![]()
My question is why would ye bother,CA's boxes are shit,I have an SR box if your stuck.
Aren't they the same boxes only for the bellhousing. And isn't the RB20 box the same internally aswell.
Jesus no lad are ya mad......... Do ya think lads wold be doing all that work fitting rb25 boxes onto sr's if you could use a ca.......... rb's are a far stronger box........
Yea tink the rb20 boxes are more or less the same internally as a sr.....
As soft as a choclate teapot........![]()
SR boxes have better ratios than CA's which is why people fit SR boxes to CA's but a CA box if you wer stuck will fit an SR if you swap bellhousings.
Shite the secrets out!we put a ca box in jays s14 and the general consensus seemed to be that the slightly lower ratios of the ca box suited his car better, suppose you could try either and see what ya prefer..they're both as shite as each other as far as strength goes!
