rite update time after a lot of head scratching and chatting with few people i decided to sell the beams engine and go sr now i know how against the rules that is but id be forever trow-in money at the beams to get it near the hp i want to be at so for cheaper power i bought an sr engine box and loom so out with the 4age

bought my first sr of lad in wicklow bought a s14 engine for the vvt so i could adjust the low down power and maybe work on spooling it quicker so i knew i have to mod the tunnel so i began by cutting off the top and messaging the firewall so i could sit the engine back as far as i could

after that it was down to crossmembers so engine was placed in and started to line up it sat in perfect in engine bay back where i wanted it so happy days but hit a wall the when i saw where the gearstick was coming up as i didnt want to cut the member coming across as it would make it too weak so thinking cap on if i moved the engine forward it was going to be too much weight over the front wheels so google the shit out of it that nite and say ya could use a rb20 box after bit lookin i got onto alan sinnotte as he had crossmembers for sale talkin to alan was big help and got lot questions answered so engine box members all got just rb box left to get

    new tunnel

as for wiring this i got few quotes off people and was thinkin of doing it myself but that could be a dangerous got call from lad in cork selling full sr20 conversion sitting in cam wired ready to go so stuck up the s14 engine for sale and went down for look happy days saves me few quid on wiring
here it is sitting in his car

also bought this off friend vanette axle ready for the cam

i also stripped the dash as need loom for the 4age what a pain in the hole that was

with the vanette axle in and wheels on my arched are under pressure not sure what to do anyone any ideas there 50mm jblood copys was considering selling and buying bigger ones or mate suggested putting on another small arch over these but dont think it would look right

update time rite got car back from healy the fri before japfest and with mad notion of gettin it ready for it so in shed over pit with list the lent of me arm ta do and with help of gavin88 and few of the lads 2 oclock sat nite

after a quick spin down the road back to shed knocked her off then went to start and she,d just turn over but would start with a push just put it down to bad coils as had spark fuel and was runnin fine sun mornin fist turn of the key and away she went so stayed going till got to japfest

    few pic of work done
new hydro handle put iit rite between gear stick and wheel so off wheel on stick down gear perfect

decided to keep the overfenders and ended up widen them worked out wel but sill tight

can see here plate we put in to push them out

ended up using my original exhaust but was worryed about it being to small here ya can see the size diff in adapter we made out off a spare prop and 50mm stainless will prob end up makin a wided system as time goes on

pic off the engine in and runnin

and all pack apart again checking for boost leaks as she was over fueling which was causing her not to start and break down but no luck
