I was sceptical at the start thinking this was gonna be a cowboy build but its sweet.
Those steels are savage!!
One thing though - in the pic where you say the flywheel strength worried you, what about the pink writing on the flywheel saying warped - no good for use???
Keep it up,be sweet to see this thing going.
Haha il take that as a compliment!
Ya I know it seems a bit dodgy but it should be ok, and ya it does say that on the flywheel, it can be straightened by resurfacing it but im actully going running an sr clutch and flywheel it's cheaper to get the sr flywheel drilled than to get the 1jz one resurfaced!
Right didn't quiet get too much done recently due to a lack of funds!
Mainly because of a new welder i bought, for all who care heres a pic.
Since i had no inner rear wheel tubs to attach to roll cage to i had to make something with a bit of strenght.
That should do the job nicely!
Also got an sr flywheel machined.
should have the gearbox on the engine soon.
i started mounting the steering rack, the track rods needed a little bit of modification. needed an 80mm extension!
steering column nearly finished, just one more rose joint needed.
got the seat mounted.
Be back soon!

Ya I'm very happy with it, very good quality and very stable arc!
I got it from a.r. brownlows here in cork, but you can get it from a few places in England, and I think wholesaleweldingsupplies.ie are going to be stocking it soon. Everywhere seems to be around the same price, around €1700. I got a few extras with mine tho longer torch lead and earth lead.
