    any one got any pics of the way they tubbed there front arches and also any pics of hom much they cut away please

    Ill be putting more detailed photo's of my tubs up tomorrow.
    I marked out where i wanted to cut and shaped a cut from a bonnet.
    Im happy with how they turned out and they took a day and a night to do.

    there is no need for them , the only car ive ever seen to need them is Colfers 1jz 180 , only cuz its so low .

    There is no need to do this. Even on Nigels car it wasnt necessary. If he was running 18s up front maybe.

    But besides the fact that its not necessary other than how it looks it seriously weakens the front structure of the car. My car was done for 09 & when it took impact it literally folded. Ill be sticking to standard in the 2010 shell.

    It depends how much of the original valance is taken away, cant remember exactly but i think the WKD cars have enormous tubs in them so a lot of fabrication was involved and none of the oem welds to the strut tower and stuff are still in place. but if they are made right and welded properly i cant see how you greatly weaken the car.
    Generally seam welding in a piece would be much stronger than a spot welded and sealed panel by nissan.
