when turning it on if you hold down the power button does a menu com up or does it just load away into phone mode?
if ya can get into the boot loader ya can lift the simlock and open i to any network

locking is not an issue these days. just contact whatever network it's locked to and get them to send you an unlocking code... very simple...

yeah but unlocking is one of the few things in the bootloader id want, its needed for using different roms
