Does the size of wheel matter when drifting? Like 17 inch or 18 inch

Depends on the power of the car, a narrower wheel will have less grip so easier to spin.
Smaller wheels are also easier to turn. Some cams use bigger wheels (17") as the engines are So powerful they just can't get grip whith smaller wheels,

i agree with damien all depends on power of your car and weight of your car also i found on a near stock car a 16 inch rim with a 205 tyre was ideal but when i got a few upgrades and more power i needed to move to 17 inch wheels with 215 or 225 tyres to provide the same grip
