I'm no expert but to me it looks like in both runs Saito taps the breaks there and Pawlak def was coming in to hot, the little tap of the breaks was hardly anything to do with what ended up happening IMO

what it looks like was, when pawlak ran a longer line to run off speed in the first run, he thought saito would to the same again and as said above he went in too fast for the angle. when hes says it was a tap of the brakes to add angle at entry that was dirty, watch the first run again saito does it in the first so it wasn't on purpose its just looks to be his style of drifting.

    Pawlak failed..........

Serious competitiveness if you ask me........im starting to see a lot of it in PD too, which i really hate. Takes the fun out of Drifting, and the fun makes it so great to be fair. :/

IMO JTP shouldn't have got that far, he should have gone out in his first battle with JR. He clearly straightened and stopped drifting on the last turn with he was following. The crowd calling for a OMT made the judges call it that.

Saito was on it all evening, I dunno how they called two OMT's with him and Conrad G, Saito was ahead in all three runs.

I didnt think there was anything wrong with JTP and Saito's battle when I saw it. Saito did get by far the fastest entry all night and it's up to JTP are the chase driver to adapte to the lead driver.

JTP Failed. Too fast and shallow on entry, couldn't handle Daigo's angle!

JTP's job was to follow. he didnt. He failed. What an ass. Really not likeing FD because of some of the ego's involved in it. Pity because there seems to be some cool guys there too and some very good drifter's.

Shit happens and Pawlak couldn't accept that. I think Saito was the better driver of the 2 and I think Pawlak getting into a hissy fit because Saito had a different approach to the course when he (Pawlak) was chase car. You hear the commentators say during the clip that in the chase event the lead car has free rain on what the line is on the track and it's up to the chase car to replicate that line as best he can. Pawlak was too lead footed expecting mega speed entry which he didn't get. Americans

Without a doubt Pawlak came in too hot and couldnt follow Saitos line the asshole! I garantee if it had to have been another yank like Matt powers or Forsberg he wouldnt have opened his mouth, just the fact that Saito is new to FD and yanks dont like being bet by a foreigner in a non V8 car!
