True, but i guess its the weakest point, it went through the oil hole.
Bit more done tonight but not as much as I wanted, mainly cos Im a gobshite :annoyed:
New rear oil seal in, it was much easier get in out than i was expecting giving the size and type of seal it is.
The last time il be seeing my crank kangaroo for a long time i hope
I got the oil pump, timing chain guides and timing chain back in aswell along witht the sump.
This is where i had a bit of a hold up. I couldnt find 2 bolts, the ones that go between the sump and oil pump. I thought i put them in the wrong bag when i was labeling stuff as i took it off. 45mins of pulling the place apart i found them screwed back into the old pump
Im sure a few will notice i did things a bit arse about face tooi put the sump on before the oil pick up. It only took a few mins to get it it right but still another bit of a cock up
Should be good to get the head on tomorrow night, thats the plan anyway
Do ya have a spare one did you say Colm?

and mazworx/arp head studs
I made a slight bit of a balls up when sticking back in the cams :annoyed: I stuck back in the RAS with them while i was torqing them down. But for some reason I never coped on that i couldnt get a spanner on the cams with them in :annoyed: So had to take them back out and do it again.
cams..
Im going to start at the rest of the pieces that need to be bolted on tomorrow night and try get the block mated to the gear box on saturday and in before sunday night
Im not sure if its because everything is so shinny or what but the pistons looked pretty close to the head when you look down into the block. But there were no bangs or creaks when i turned the crank so i know everything is clearing thank christ
more bits bolted back on
