    Default Thirsty e85 180sx

    Thought i might as well throw up what im doing on here,

    After a run on a dyno a few weeks ago i found out that my current fuel pump wasnt up to the job and needed changing. I had planned to upgrade my fuel system in a while, but this kinda pushed things forward so its started now

    anyways, this is my car



    and a pretty cool shot of one of my wheels on the dyno



    anyway, the plan is:

    Greddy style plenum bored out to 70mm
    N1 TB
    -6an fuel rail
    8mm fuel lines
    aeromotive fpr
    1200cc injectors
    2 x z32 fuel filters
    2ltr swirl pot
    bosch 044 external fuel pump
    walbro 255 in tank

    also upgrading my brakes at the min too,
    R32 GTR calipers upfront
    330mm grooved discs
    322mm rear discs
    R33 gtst rear calipers
    s13 shoes
    braided lines
    over sized ds2500 pads

    heres the parts ive gotten so far,

    I took out more than was needed, just behind where the tb bolts on was a really wierd shape and wasnt going to help airflow.

    im making my own fuel rail,


    post cost more than the material lol

    front discs compaired to the gtr ones ive been running,


    stuck in some of these


    in here last night


    heres a few other parts that arrived in the last couple of days,



    ive got to meassure up the injectors now to see what way to bore out the fuel rail. Gonna make up some alu. mounts for the bosch and both fuel filters.

    jaysus, good to see your going for your own approch on bits! what did it make on the dyno...and whens its going back??

    314bhp @ 1bar and dangeriously lean everywhere. wasnt happy at all. All the work will be starting after the 17th, nct is that day. and everything will be done working and tuned by 20th of july. has to be lol



    @Delab - its so i can run low impedance injectors. its harder to get high imp. ones when you go big, you can but it just takes a bit longer to get your hands on them

    is it been resprayed or jus polished up looks nice mines the same red and want it to look like that jus wondering how u got it like that
