looking well dude
can u make rails to suit any car if so ill get stiv to contact u wit wat i might need done
yep should be able to dude, i would prob need your injectors though to make sure that i was boring out to the proper size for the O ring on it.
stiv has my number anyways, i need to get my arse up to him next week actually - thanks for reminding me lol
@ Frankae86 - yeah the wheels were what made me pick that car mate, they are savage and pretty rare from what ive heard. It should be over 400bhp when done, Im not setting my mind on any figures but i want the car running safe and to its potential. then il be happy![]()
My god there're shiny ha!
And yeah thats a big aul turbo alrite, nice one!
Looking forward to seeing what it puts out when she's right!
time for a small update,
The car finally passed the nct (after its 4th feckin attempt!) so now its back in the shed for the fuelling bits for be stuck on.
I did the 5second lazy eye conversion to the car, im not sure if i prefer it this way or not. (sorry for the crap phone pics)
a better pic of the front from a meet last weekend,
Ive swapped fuel pumps, the walbro is a tiny little yoke.
i got my front brakes fitted and braided lines fitted.
330mm discs and still lots for room to spare.
gotta say im loving the coverage of the pad on the disc. it sits over the entire surface area.
Its only the fronts at the min but that'll change over the weekend.
I broke 3 strong bars trying to get off the hub nuts on the rear so had to get a loan of this from work.
Its a 4foot mega torque wrench and costs a small fortune so thankfully it opened the bastids and didnt break too.
Il be machining up a few parts for the plenum in work tomorrow and maybe get the fuel rail done on saturday.
Il wire in the injector driver over the weekend when i get my hands on some solder. I want to fit it before sticking in the new injectors to make sure its working right before i pull everything off. it says it can work with both high and low impedance injectors, so i guess il find out soon.
I gotta get this stupid cat thing off now too and stick back on my proper exhaust. Im waiting for my swirl pot to arrive next week and gotta order up my fuel line, going with hydraulic hose for now. Il go with the blingy stuff when i can afford it. and i should be picking up my new gear box next weekend![]()
Those callipers arent gonna be caught for room with those spacers either!
400 horses............. 1 jockey
lol no, but those are the small ones.
Gotta make up some 35mm spacers for my track wheels.
