The budget for this build was €5000 for the 1jz to be put in and for a full re-spray and already before the spray job has started it's gone well over the budget. I gurantee this will be one of the nicest Altezza's in the country
Babyeater already had the soarer and Altezza for the job so the budget does not include what it would have cost to buy the parts if he didn't have them already.
So the Tezza is going to have the following spec(well this is all it has at the moment but babyeater changes his mind all the time)
*1jz TT engine
*R154 gearbox
*Drift spec comp Clutch
* Custom FMIC pipin
* Wait for it 2 x 3 inch thick shotgun style exhaust custom built along with a spare exhaust and cat for the nct
* Custom made prop shaft so it can fit the tezza(so it's straight from the gearbox back and is all one piece instead of it being two piece with carrier bearing)
* Vip rear spoiler and a few other little goodies
So here's the spec of the Tezza that was:
Fastest dyno'd NA Altezza in the country. Dyno'd at 207.3bhp
Trd Diff
Hks exhaust System
Hks 4 branch mani
Hks Full Induction Kit
Trd Side Skirts
Trd High rise spoiler
Trd Front Grill
Tein Coilovers
3 different sets of alloys(Weds,Works,Euolines)
So a few compulsory things needed to be done before the engine went in
New Water pump and tensioner's, belts all brand new from Toyota
Head Gasket
Brand New rocker cover bolts- standard (cost me €90)
Front sump(which if anyone knows about 1jz's they'll know how hard they are to get so had to get one second hand)
Common fault with the 1jz engines is the build up of grime in the bottom end and around the rocker cover so
Bought the best grease remover dose a savage jo
Few little goodies I've bought for it so far:
* Brand New Set of HSD Coilovers
* Rare Recaro
* Vip spoiler( Thanks Kiwicorolla)
* Avcr( Thanks Neil)
* Black rsm & g-sensor
* Brand new Front Mount
* Broadway mirror
* Brand New HKS Turbo Timer Type 1
Here's what's on the coming list and to buy list at the moment:
* Fender washers
* Aftermarket Horn
* Full aftermarket pulley kit
* HKS Fcon ecu(will have the car mapped to be good for over 380bhp)
And of course a few other little suprises along the way
There is so much more left to this build and I will be keeping it updated and picture heavy and there will be a few things left as a suprise for when the finished product is revealed
