Looked like you were having fun! I found to get third with the wheels tyres diff I had I had to go wide coming out of turn 1 and then give The wheel and extra turn over towards the right 'clip' to keep the arse out. It something. Haha

Cool mate, gonna hunt around the yard here and see what diffs are about the place! Still have that E36 M3 diff here too so have a 188mm case and shafts to use.. Unless someone buys it and then I can buy that one you did for the chap in wexford! You reckon stick with the 16s too?
Thanks mate! Don't recognise much faces from the site, ill say hi next time
Yup always have great fun in itI'll try that next time too, I think I was maybe going a bit shallow.. So the missus says anyway!
Love the wheels on this, Nice bit of spec on it too.
Found me a 4.44 diff digging around the parts area earlier! It's from an e46 though, so will have to swap the casings.. i'll start on that tonight!
hurmph, after splitting both diffs it would appear that the e46 internals do not fit the e36 casing, due to the pinion shaft being shorter.. back to the drawing board!
Was going to say it when I saw your last post but you were probably already after starting it by then
The diff unit can be made fit with abit of work but the cwp are definitely a no-go.
You need the cwp from an E28, E30 or from some E34s depending what ratio your after.
haha at least i know now :P gonna hunt around a bit more and see what i find.. do you know will any earlier pinion shafts fit the e36 casing and mesh with the e46 4.44 crownwheel?
Never tried. Generally your always going to get the crownwheel with the pinion when getting a diff or cwp set.
Hellllllllllllllo
What wheels are thems?? Seen an e46 today with a set, they are lovely![]()
