180sx Road Car Endless project

Well ive been on this site a good while an never started up a build thread
ive owned my 180sx nearly 5 and a half years now i imported it from japan myself bought it off a site called Japan Partner heres the pics i bought it off




its a 97 Kouki model
the spec when i got it was
sr20de
4 branch manifold
apexi exhaust
2 way diff
Fully adjustable Hks coilovers
carbon fibre vented bonnet
16' staggered advans
bomex abortion front bumper
aftermarket rear bumper

and a few other bits i cant think of
i changed the wheels on the car after a while got these cheap on Ebay


and the rear lexus lights had to go swapped them for these


i had it on a dyno in urban performance and it was 132bhp




i was happy enough with the N/A engine but there comes a time when ya want more lol so i bought an un reged 180sx with a few nice parts on it at the right price that i put on my car
swaped complete running gear for a 55k sr20det non vvt

also had a full 3inch veilside cat back on it lovely sound out of it

there was a monkey magic front bumper and kouki style skirts also

when the conversion was bein done this polybushed subframe with adjustable camber toe and castor arms and grooved discs and cusco 2way diff came up for sale when Roco broke his v8 ae86 project so i bought it

as it stud after the conversion kit sprayed an all





the car has been sittin up for nearly a year an a half now it was never used as a daily just as a weekend car cause i have a van for work

i bought these work emotion cr kai alloys recently of D-turbolad im refurbin them myself at the min cause im low on cash there 18x7 i think


ive done loads to the car over the years whatever it wanted it got regardless of money

god them lights were awfull,wouldnt like the kit not subtale enough for my taste but looks clean,good luck with it!

yeah man they were awful they werent on it long lol

i have a full kouki kit in the shed there the front bumper is damaged came a off a car that took a slap im gettin the matchin side skirts and rear bumper for my front bumper soon off a lad on here so she will be lookin a bit better .
i lost interest in it for a while but im back on track now

once u get that kit on ul find interest again,second hand parts are so cheep now it's a shame not to be tippin away at it!

yeah defo man ive a few nigley bits to get sorted on it
starter motor
window reg
few interior plastics
rear gearbox seal
and im puttin a viscous lsd into it the 2way is heart braking great for driftin but this car will never see a track as long as i have it lol
thats what the tramp is for

yeah man i used to get that alot when i first got it there wasnt many of them floatin around at all no one knew what it was lol

i knew i recognized that red s14 in that group photo its sitting out in the yard lol . looked way better back then .
