    Default Polishing Chrome Dish...

Probably been asked before but what's the best way to polish a chrome dish/lip?

Picked up a set of wheels and there's a few little spots (Looks like tiny spots of rust) I want to get them mint!

How and what do I use? (Want to do it myself)

I'll post pics in a min.

    Cheers.

peek or autosol or some of them can be got in the likes of halfords or motorfactors...autosol can be fairly pricey, & plenty of elbow grease but u sayin rust hopefully its jus surface or else its job for the specialists

Sound like a weird one but it works a treat!!! Get a piece of tinfoil and just rub of the spots of surface rust. Just ball it up and a little bit of wd-40 helps too!!

Did it recently with my " bigend rodders"

That's a pic of inside the rim you can see the way it was before and the clean part is after rubbing it down with tin foil!! An a bit of autosol after to get a mirrored finish

Using the tinfoil and WD-40 method, must get Autosol to finish them off.

Will be sprayed Lime Green before I do anymore though
