Main problem with the camber for me and stretch was that the rear tyres kept popping off. Thats largely due to the grates in Portlaois though I'd imagine so probably be alright anywhere else.

Shims. Well they were only fitted saturday. But they seemed to work fine at the drift day. Who knows when they'll wear out or what will happen over time, but for the moment it seems to be spot on. Feels like a 2way/welded. Cant remember off hand how many was used etc, but will find out for you as soon as I can.
Oh I've loads of places where you can transition from lock to lock! I finish work at 4am in the morning, so Iv the whole country to myself! I've been meaning to just throw in a few spacers, did it with the beemer and it worked well.

Defo going to give the shims a go, because I really don't wanna blow up the diff by welding it!
