I'd love an RB30, rips in New Zealand do great work with them. You would need a strong gearbox to take the torque by the sounds of it!!

I have been told the R33 gearbox is good for up to 1000bhp. After talking with Mike Deane he has swayed me into going down the road of a 350z gearbox. Way better ratios. The gaps in the R33 are to big between 2 to 3 and 3 to 4.

I had completely forgot about this thread. So a year on and I have finally fully polly bushed the car which was badly needed and powder coated as much as possible.I discovered the sills were rusted out so I had those replaced and the underneath body shultzed. Replaced all the worn out suspension arms. I went and got some wider 10.5j wheels for the rear

The car was suffering from misfiring from time to time due to a fairly brittle ignition harness so I replaced that for a Do-luck up rated one which fixed the misfire and made the car rev much smoother. I came across a twin core intercooler and said I'll have that, it dwarft the greddy one that was installed.

The car went for a full respray a few weeks ago as the paint was starting to show its age. I had a carbon roof scoop fitted still not sure about it yet. Did a small bit of engine bay tidy up but I will eventually get around to pulling the lump out and sorting it properly. Tidied up the interior finally getting rid of some of those annoying rattles.

Lovely car. Wouldn't be a fan of roof scoop personally

Monster of a car what's it drive like around town etc?

Wouldn't be a fan of the scoop either but other than that it's a thing of beauty, I love the kit.
