    cheers lads, ye Grange joys of fiberglass indeed. ah well i had such a laugh it didnt really bother me at all.. ill have it back to its former glory in no time.

    Rory havent a clue what power it is. pretty sure its on a standard ECU. ill txt ya there now.

    FLASHBACK.

    Been awhile since im on here and every time i come on i always say ill try make an effort to keep my build thread updated and never happens. ha but ill try again. God loves a tryer.

    So since ive had the rx7 over here in Slovenia i literally done nothing with it. The moment i went to get it back up to scratch it ecided to give me engine problems with resulted in deciding to have to get the engine rebuilt. There has been a new drift series starting here in Slovenia which i judged the first round of over the weekend just passed and it was actually really good. So long story short i have decided to track the car and go full out with it.

    So i got to work with stripping it.





    Pulled the engine out to send it off to hayward Rotaries to get it ported and built back up, plan is run it back on standard turbo and map it for around 300BHP, i think it should be enough to kick abit of fun out of it and always leaves the possible oppertunity to then upgrade turbo for more power latter down the road if needed.







    Here is how she sits at the moment



    Loads of new shiny bits bought for her and fresh body panels. stay tuned.

    Crazy where Irish people end up going and taking their cars with them! I know a Dublin lad in Poland with his AE86, I drove my Chaser to Hamburg and its still on Irish plates and here is a badass FC that has breathed Irish and Slovenian air.

    Serious car man keep the updates coming.

    Ye it is a little mad altogether. Do you get any trouble with driving your car on irish plates in Hamburg? is it all legit or they dont have a clue?

    Few more pics of small bits ive been doing.

    Engine has now been sent to Hayward Rotarys, Very excited to see what they can do with it. The worst part is its a 3/4 week wait. pain in the ass.

    Sourced a few nice parts from Dave in JDM Distro. He sourced me a nice rare Power Fc for the RX7 Fc. Waiting on suspension parts to arrive this week from parts shop max and Mazdatrix.

    Yw i get away with it grand man. The rule in Germany is the car only has to go onto German plates if its there over 12 months at any one time. I get it over the border every now and then to keep it legal. The only down side to it is having to bring it home to get it NCT'd.

    Cheers dude. Getting the engine rebuilt with bigger injectors and ported. Going for a little more power.
